IDENTITY CENTER ERFURT

In 2017, a new important hub for train traffic opened in Erfurt. This was the reason for the city planning office to reactivate the site of the former railroad post office near the main station. The task was to find a concept for use, size and construction. Due to the representative location and the growing importance of the area as of 2017, an ensemble of existing and new buildings was created, the Identity Center Erfurt. Several identity-creating sectors of Erfurt (such as art, media or solar industry) were to constitute the mixed use of the area.
